INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPERM ANALYSIS

Making sample in the office:

  1. Abstain from intercourse or masturbation for at least 3 days.
  2. Wash hands and genital area, then dry completely.
  3. We provide a private, secure room to make the sample.
  4. Collect the entire semen sample into the sterile container – close the lid tightly.
  5. Label the cup: name, date of birth, date and time.
  6. Give the sample directly to Dr. Brandeis or the technician.

Hacer su muestra de esperma en la oficina:

  1. Abstenerse de tener relaciones sexuales o masturbarse durante al menos 3 días.
  2. Lávese las manos y la zona genital y luego séquese completamente.

  1. Transport container to office within 90 minutes in your pocket at body temperatures.

  1. The analyis is done soon after sample received and completed in 15-20 minutes.

Morphology is the percent of sperm with normal head shape, mid-piece and tail
